Prohibition against Termination

An employer shall not terminate the services of an employee on any of the following grounds:

1. Trade union membership or participation in trade union activities outside working hours or, with the consent of the employer, within working hours.

2. Seeking office as, or acting as the capacity of, an employee representative.

3. Making a complaint or participating in proceedings against an employer involving an alleged violation of laws and regulation.

4. Race, colour, sex, marital status, pregnancy, religion, political opinion, nationality or social origin.

5. Reasonable absence from work due to family emergencies or responsibilities.

6. Absence from work during maternity leave as certified by a medical practitioner.

7. Absence from work due to injury or illness provided that the employee submits a medical certificate to his employer by the third day of absence.

8. Absence from work in the performance of jury service as required by law.

Job summary

CCC LTD is currently looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for providing the support necessary to the management and Finance Team. This ranges from helping to prepare financial statements and accounts, budgeting, managing ledgers, processing invoices and preparing VAT returns.


An Accountant will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:

· Preparation of the monthly management accounting and reports for the Company with a view to presenting findings at a Board level

· Review and reconcile all Accruals & Prepayments schedules

· Responsible for the reconciliation of the Company’s bank accounts, this includes all postings to the GL and balancing.

· Set up new suppliers on accounting software when necessary

· Preparation of the annual Company Budgets and Weekly forecasts

· Assist with Year-end External and Internal Audit Analysis

· Preparation of the Accountants Pack for Review

· Other Administrative Duties

· Other Ad-hoc duties as required by the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Qualifications and Preferred Skills

1. Must have a recognized degree in accounting or equivalent experience

2. Prior experience in fast food retail would be a distinct advantage.

3. Detail oriented

4. Ability to meet deadlines

5. Ability to generate and interpret reports

6. Must have good interpersonal skills

7. Must be able to work flexible hours
