As organization evolve, the need to review the strategic direction remains paramount in ensuring that they retain their relevance in their spheres of influence. The Caribbean Development Bank is Funding a project to transpose the Centre for enterprise development Inc. (CED) as a catalyst for transformation in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The CED is non-profit organization established in 2005 by the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) to foster the growth of the private sector. It succeeded the Small Enterprise Development Unit (SEDU), which was incorporated in 2001. CED’s vision is to be the focal point for the development of Micro, Small, And medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

 

PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT

The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical, strategic and facilitation support to enable the development of the CED’s strategic plan and develop an analysis framework and work plan to guide the assessment. The Consultant will conduct a thorough, but focused assessment of the CED’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats, with a view to identifying appropriate strategic options for the 2025 to 2030 operational period.
