Vacancy: Finance Manager / Project Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager / Project Accountant to oversee financial operations and report for major projects. Reporting to the Project Director, the successful candidate will ensure accurate accounting, strong financial control, and effective project financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
  • Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Monitor project performance and analyze variances
  • Maintain project cost tracking and approve expenditures
  • Support cost control, procurement, and contract management
  • Manage cash flow, billing, collections, and payments
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements
  • Supervise finance staff and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and GAAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA) or MBA in Finance/Accounting
  • 7–10 years’ experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial environments
  • High integrity, professionalism, and discretion with strong organizational and communication skills
