EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Centre for Enterprise Development Inc. (CED), a business development organization, is seeking a suitably qualified individual to fill the position of General Manager. The successful candidate will report to the Board of Directors of the CED and will manage the affairs of the organization.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Job Title
General Manager, Centre for Enterprise Development Inc.
Nature of Work
Perform institutional management functions; project management; and local, regional and international networking (bilateral, multilateral, institutional, public and private sectors) for the purpose of mobilizing resources for business development in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- At least a Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, or related fields.
- Academic qualification and experience in Project Management are desirable and will be an asset.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Business Development Support Services.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in project management.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience at the management level.
The following will be an asset:
- Understanding of the role of MSMEs in economic development, economic transformation, and job creation.
- Understanding of business cycle stages and their specific needs within the SVG context.
- Experience with multilateral financial institutions (MFIs) or investment companies operating within the Caribbean financial space.
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Duties are performed in a standard office setting, but considerable field travel and work outside normal working hours may be necessary on a regular basis.
